Josh serves as the Executive Director and President of Student Connection, leading the Executive Team, overseeing all operations, and spearheading the organization’s NEW VISION plan by forging partnerships and leading research efforts as we launch new pilot programs. Josh is a Sophomore at Claremont McKenna College in Claremont California where he leads Student Connection’s Collegiate Team, quickly becoming one of the college’s most established clubs on campus. In his senior year of high school, Josh organized a group of friends to tutor at a nearby community. He became close with the students he tutored and witnessed them grow academically and behaviorally. He couldn’t stop there. He founded Student Connection in 2020 to replicate his high school tutoring program in more communities, and make academic support affordable to all. Now, with hundreds of tutors in the organization and a highly competent group of college students assisting with research, expansion, and fundraising, he is ready to lead the organization as it influences major policy and expands the field of high-impact tutoring research.
